Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 150g buffalo mozzarella, torn into pieces
- 100g prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 220C 430F
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness
Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Brush the dough with olive oil, leaving a small border around the edges
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the oiled dough
Scatter torn buffalo mozzarella pieces over the sauce
Lay the prosciutto slices on top of the mozzarella
Season with a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of black pepper
Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil leaves
Slice and serve hot
