Sticky Pork Ribs The Fork Bite

These Sticky Pork Ribs from The Fork Bite taste great with both sweet and savory foods. The Asian-inspired marinade gives the ribs great flavors, and slow baking them makes them tender and sticky. A delicious dish that will make your taste buds want more

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 325F 163C

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, Chinese five-spice powder, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to create the marinade

Place the pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag and pour half of the marinade over them

Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the ribs

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results

Remove the ribs from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil

Bake in the preheated oven for 2

5 to 3 hours, basting with the reserved marinade every 30 minutes, until the ribs are tender and caramelized

Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing into individual ribs

Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving
